The Grand Adventure: Part 1

Salt Lake City

The descent into Salt Lake City was much more interesting than last I remembered. The vivid salt-induced colors contrast beautifully with the desolate mountain landscape. I was fortunate to arrive during the day!

After exploring the airport I chose Manchu Wok for my midday meal. It was a toss up between this and California Pizza Kitchen. It turned out that I made the wrong choice. It was so disappointing, in fact, that 10 minutes later I picked up an extremely overpriced salad at a CPK “ASAP”. (Disclosure: I am a CPKI shareholder)

The airport’s free wifi didn’t seem to work for me, per usual. However, it turns out that I still have a Verizon Wireless adapter (umm, thanks Ryan and John) – so I am able to make this post anyway!

It doesn’t seem like much happened in the markets today. Gold backed off  of 4 digits slightly again, the markets meandered… still it seems, conjuring green shoots.

For those who don’t know, I am getting married on Saturday. Next airport… Detroit, which is surprisingly one of America’s best.
